EDUCATIONAL
PROGRAMNew Beginnings offers a homebound educational program for junior high and high school students in our program. All classes are held on grounds of New Beginnings. In rare cases we will allow attendance of school off grounds.
New Beginnings will need all school transcripts sent to our address or
faxed to (337) 948-9101 before or on the admission date of the client.
Please note that our homebound program is fully accredited by the Louisiana Department of Education and all credits are transferable to the client's high school or junior high of origin.
As an alternative to the homebound program, New Beginnings offers a G.E.D program. The client must be 17 years of age to participate in this program. Ninety-five percent of New Beginnings clients who participate in this G E D program, complete the G E D program with a high school diploma.
New Beginnings has a Master's level Certified teacher full time on staff. Please feel free to consult with this person at your convenience.
